June 18, 2019

The make up event for Day Two of Outrun The Pack was a great success!  If you missed it, you might have missed the best race of the year!   A vast portion of the state of Oklahoma was muddy and under water and Big Fox Run was nearly perfect.  There was some mud, but mostly perfect dirt and dust!  Check out the footage here!

Our next event will be two great days of racing Sept. 14 and 15 at Chicken Creek! near Bristow, OK.  This is a very special, private property that rarely allows visitors so we feel honored to be there and know it will be a do not miss type of race!

Until then, we are on summer break!

Join us at The Boulder Dash put on by Welltown Brewing on June 22nd in downtown Tulsa, OK! and other fun and exciting rides, events and social gatherings and be sure to wear your OkieSprint shirt to let everyone know that you are life the of the party!

What is OkieSprint?

Fast, Fun, Racing!

A fresh off-road race format for you to enjoy!  Two separate, three to five mile long, off-road courses. Riders attack each course at least three times with a single rider starting every 15 seconds.   At the end of the day, the fastest total time wins!

Clean Racing!

Sprint Enduro Racing is exactly what it sounds like;  Riding as fast as you can on short, off-road courses.  Check out our YouTube Play List to get a feel for the courses and format.

Spectator Friendly!

Short, fast courses that let you hang it all out!  Best Part - Everyone gets to see it all go down because the tests are close to camp and riders will have the opportunity to return to the pits between each test. This allows you to bench race with your buddies and family between tests.

Schedule Explanation

In Sprint Enduros riders are given 2 separate tests that they must navigate at least 3 times each during the day.  The tests will take a maximum of 15 minutes each.

At some races Riders will be given an "Open Format" where they can run tests in any order or time they want, so long as the rider completes the required tests before the course closes.

At some races, Riders will stage by class in front of Test 1, and be released one at a time in numerical order, every 15 seconds. Once a rider has cleared Test 1, they will have approximately 20 minutes before starting Test 2.  Riders will stage by class in front of Stage 2 and be released into Test 2 one at a time.  After Test 2 is completed, riders will have approx. 40 minutes before heading back to Test 1 for their "second lap" in which they repeat the process only now sorted by placement within their class.  Riders will do this at least 3 times during the race day.

Frequently Asked Questions

How Do Sprint Enduros Work?

Sprint enduros may seem complex, but dirt bike racing has never been so easy!

Riders are sent into tests 1 and 2 by numerical order then by class position in tests 3-6, or as they are ready in an order of their choosing.

Check out our YouTube Play List for an idea of the races

What class should I ride in?

Enter an equivalent class to any series you currently ride in.  If you've never raced before, we suggest entering the C or C-Senior (+40 years old) class.  You can always enter a more competitive class later.  All Courses should be doable on a 65cc bike.  We don't recommend 50cc entries.

Is there transfer trail between tests?

No!  We start and end each test loop right at the pits.  You can ride your dirt bike back to your truck between tests!

Do I need to "keep time"?

No!  The first test opens at approximately 11am.  We will announce over OSC Radio the approaching start times, and write them on each classes Staging Area Sign.

How long is the race?

With Tests lasting 6-15 minutes each, expect 45 minutes to 1+ hour of riding as fast as possible during the race day.

Racing Starts at 11am and trophies should be handed out by 4pm.

Is it fun for non racers?

Absolutely! Sprint Racing gives spectators a lot of time watch the racing up close and interact with riders in the pits. We also appreciate and encourage help with our races.  From building the courses, handling sign up, staging riders and keeping the course clear and well marked on race day there is a lot do
